Mela Teas is an online boutique tea retailer, based in California, offering unique single-origin tea, ranging from black, green, flowery, herbal, and spiced.  Direct from the beautiful island of Sri Lanka, our Ceylon tea is harvested from a plantation in Southern Sri Lanka, adjacent to the Indian Ocean. Unlike high-grown teas, which thrive in cool mountainous regions, our low-grown teas, carry a rare quality, marked by the warm salted air of the sea.
